Fall Fiesta & Farewell Highlights
What a truly magical night! The Fall Fiesta was a tremendous success, and it’s all thanks to your incredible support. It served as a beautiful tribute to our outgoing leader, Jenn McAdoo and was a wonderful opportunity for Tae Chong to get to know our friends and supporters. It was an evening full of fun, food, music, laughter, and sincere connection.
This community is why Furniture Friends is the critical resource it is today for our most vulnerable neighbors. It’s why we’ve been able to serve 16,000+ individuals and have diverted 2.6 million lbs. of furniture waste from landfills over time.
Through the generosity of our incredible supporters, we also raised over $25,000 towards the purchase of a “new to us” truck, and can now apply for additional grant funding to cover the rest of the cost.
To all those that volunteered, organized, cleaned, decorated, donated and celebrated with us–thank you for making it such a special evening.
