Refer a Client
We provide furniture for anyone who lacks the financial ability to purchase items on their own. Many of our clients have been recently homeless, escaped abusive relationships, are living with physical or intellectual disabilities, are individuals suffering from chronic illness, new immigrants, veterans or people experiencing hard times. See below for more information on eligibility, our service area, how clients receive furniture, and the items we provide.
Eligibility
- Clients must be referred by a participating social service agency or other partners.
- Clients cannot request furniture directly.
- Clients must reside within our service area.
- Clients who have not used our service within the last 12 months can be referred.
How Clients Receive Furniture
Clients or case managers who have access to transportation are encouraged to schedule an appointment to pick up furniture at our warehouse in Westbrook. An advantage to scheduling a pick up is that clients may select their furniture from our inventory at the time of their pick up appointment.
For those without access to transportation, we will deliver to clients in our service area, however, we usually can accommodate pick up appointments much faster than delivery.
Pickup – When scheduling a pickup appointment, clients and case managers must confirm that they have a vehicle large enough to transport everything in one trip. We are not able to accommodate multiple trips to pick up items from the warehouse at this time.
Delivery – Clients or case managers who are unable to pickup furniture from our warehouse can select delivery. Deliveries are scheduled in the order in which the referrals are received and can take up to 2 months to be scheduled after the referral is submitted.

Clients who live in the cities and towns listed below are eligible to receive furniture. Clients who reside in areas marked “pickup only” are outside of our delivery area and will need to arrange appropriate transportation to pick up items from our warehouse.

Items We Provide
The furniture we provide is gently used and inspected for stains, rips, pet hair, pests and excessive wear and tear, or any other unsuitable trait. We do our best to provide the items requested on the referral form; however, due to occasional limitations in our inventory, we are unable to guarantee that we will have all items requested at the time of the pick up or delivery.
