Furnish Together Coalition

At the end of July our Executive Director, Jenn McAdoo gathered with other leaders from across the U.S. in Washington, D.C for a furniture bank summit. There she met roughly 30 different furniture bank leaders in-person, joined by another 10-15 online for the first ever in-person Furnish Together Coalition conference!

A Wider Circle, a furniture bank located in Silver Springs, MD hosted the event. Jenn was invited to participate in a panel discussion on creative funding streams for furniture banks. The agenda also included an opportunity to learn more about furniture poverty data collected by A Wider Circle as well as to tour their facilities. She enjoyed networking with other furniture bank leaders and meeting with congressional staff on Capitol Hill.
